  • Notes
    • SAULNIER, Pierre Jean ? age 73, of St. Benoni, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in St. Benoni, he was a son of the late Denis and Viola (Saulnier) Saulnier. Carpenter by trade, avid hunter and sport fisherman, at the age of 73, Pierre has left us to move onto a happy and peaceful place where he will be reminiscing, singing and playing his guitar until his heart?s content. A great reunion it will be of family, musicians, and friends where music, laughter and love never end. Whether playing at dances, variety shows, nursing homes, benefit shows or their weekly garage ?Friday Nights Music Row?, his love and passion for music will never be forgotten. We will always remember the toe tapin, shoulder liftin energy and enthusiasm he had with every tune he played. He is survived by his wife, Sadie; son, John (Suzanne); granddaughter, Skylar, all of St. Benoni; daughter, Joy Saulnier (Wayne); granddaughter, Janik, all of Saulnierville; brothers, Maurice (Marilyn), British Columbia.; Kenneth (Nellie), St. Benoni; Russell (Rosaline), Meteghan River; Robert (Bernadette), St. Benoni; Daniel (Jeanne), St. Benoni; sisters, Jeannette (Edouard) Comeau, Meteghan River; Ruth Deveau (Bob), St. Benoni; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Richard, Ronald, Desire. Cremation has taken place and visitation will be held Friday, April 6, from 7-9 p.m. in Meteghan Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to Jacky Comeau & Friends Cancer Help Fund Association or to a charity of your choice.
