    • On October 8, 2019 Marlyn Jean Ingvaldson (nee Oliver) passed into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in White Rock, British Columbia at the age of 75. She is survived by her husband Charles, sons Stephen, Jeffrey, Christopher, grandchildren Valbjorn (Val) Rafe, Elizabeth (Lily) and Anna, siblings Richard and Joyce, step brothers David and Tommy. Predeceased by her father Arthur Oliver, mother Elsie Belcher, sister Mabel (Bee), step brother Digby, step sister Joyce.
      Marlyn (Marnie) was born in Montreal and moved to Coquitlam in 1957. She graduated grade 12 from Victorville California in 1960. She married Charles in 1962, and recently celebrated her 57th wedding anniversary in August. As a young wife and mother, Marnie was actively involved with her children's many activities, joining the Lacrosse Executive, becoming Vice President of the St George's Ladies Auxiliary. Marnie was an accomplished bookkeeper working at Shoppers Drug Mart for many years.
      In later life Marnie's passion was genealogy, when she joined the British Columbia Genealogy Society, serving on the executive for a decade and two terms as President. Marnie loved to travel, visiting over 70 countries with Charles and many friends.
      Marnie relished the friendships she had made through all the stages of her life, and loved having her family, sons and grandchildren gather at home with her. She loved and was loved greatly.
