Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Theresa passed away on June 8, 2018 at 11:26 a.m. at her home in Plaquemine. She was a native and resident of Plaquemine. She quit her job at the LSU Library in 1954 to marry her marine, William Curtis Grant. She spent a lot of time traveling with her husband and son to various bases in the states. She enjoyed meeting people from different states and making new friends. Her favorite pastime was reading books by conservative authors and she had a large collection of historical and non-fiction books. She was an avid fan of LSU baseball. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her great grandchildren. She loved animals and always owned a dog and cat. She liked to feed the birds and squirrels. She was a member of the Humane Society of the U.S. Theresa is survived by her son, Curt Grant and wife Bonnie Richard Grant of Addis; two sisters, Dorothy LeMay Ourso of Baton Rouge, June LeMay Cavalier and husband Allen of Plaquemine; one brother, Carl LeMay and wife Diana Clement LeMay of Plaquemine; three grandchildren, Amy Grant and companion Kevin Babin of Baton Rouge, Andrea Grant and fiancé Prentice Hebert of St. Francisville, Ryan Grant and wife Tori of Addis; 7 great grandchildren, Gevan Conway, Jacob Conway and wife Andria, Brennan Conway, Grant and Gabriela Orcino, Ian Bayliss, and Sophia Hebert. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, William Curtis Grant; parents, George and Edna Carmouche LeMay; 3 sisters, Edna Frances LeMay Markins and husband Genie, Mary Gertrude LeMay Langlois and husband Julian, Evelyn Miller and husband John; 1 brother, George Mourice LeMay Jr.; brother-in-law, Roland Ourso. Visiting will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Monday, June 11th from 11 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., celebrated by Rev. Ryan Hallford. Entombment will follow in Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum.
