Marguerite Bourgeois (Acadian and French-Canadian women keep their maiden name after they marry) was buried in the cemetery of Notre Dame de l'Assomption in Beaubassin (now part of a National Historic Site of Canada at Highway 4, Fort Lawrence, Nova Scotia, Canada)
