  Kathleen Clair Schultz Murphy passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at the age of 70, after a brief illness. She is survived by her children, Monica Murphy Dalide (Michael), Daniel G. Murphy, Jr., Erin Murphy Ballam (Richard, Jr.). and Kathleen Clair Murphy; grandchildren, Veronica (Nick), Lauren (Jeremiah), Michael, Jr. Brandon, Cameron, Daniel III, Kathryn, Peyton, and Liam; great grandchildren, Madeline, Nico, Luca, and Connor and soon-to-be Benjamin. She is also survived by her brother, William A. Schultz and her sister, Patricia R. Schultz, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Maurice and Mary Bridget Gibbons Schultz. Relatives, friends, employees of the Fourth Circuit and Louisiana Supreme Courts and Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office are invited to attend the Visitation and Memorial Mass at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans LA 70119, on Monday, August 25, 2014. Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. and conclude with Mass in the funeral home chapel at 7:30 P.M. Kathy loved a good sale rack, all things New Orleans, her beloved family and her sweet puppy, Jameson.
