  Staff Report GARDNER ? Two new chemotherapy chairs were purchased for Heywood Hospital?s Oncology Center as a result of gifts in memory of Jennifer D. Sweatman, according to Heywood President/CEO Daniel P. Moen. Jennifer D. Sweatman died in 1998 at the age of 25, following a four-year battle with melanoma. She was the daughter of Ross and Boneva Sweatman and grandniece of Jean Shapland and niece of Deborah Plotkin. She was a graduate of Fitchburg High School and received her bachelor?s degree from the University of Hartford and her master?s degree in physical therapy from Columbia University in New York City. Her family created the Jennifer D. Sweatman Fund for distribution to local charities.
