- Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O?Leary, on Thursday, January 21, 2016, with his loving family by his side, of George R. Arsenault, Nail Pond, aged 78 years. Beloved husband of Nelda (Allain) Arsenault. Born in Nail Pond on May 12, 1937, he was the son of Alphie and Dorothy Arsenault. Loving father to Robert, (Donna), Nail Pond; Jackie (Doris), Nail Pond; Kerry (Donna), Kildare; Ricky (Wendy), Oromocto: Blair (Tammy), Nail Pond; Duane (Cheryl), Gunion Road; and Brian (Tracy), Richmond. Dear grandfather to Vanessa, Sara, Jessi, Chris, Janel, Devan, Erica, Alisha, Adam, Corey, Meghan, Cody, Dominic, Benjamin, Heidi, Josie, Jacob, Austin, Donovan, Isaac and Alivia and great-grandfather to 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Brother to Elizabeth Gallant, Freddie, John and Victor. He was predeceased by siblings William, Madeline, Anita, Eddie, Ulderic, Cyril, Anne Marie, Andrew and Phillip. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, for visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Saturday, Jan. 23, at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Celebrant Rev.
