LEOMINSTER -- Delphis J. Comeau 79, of Leominster, died Sunday, April 5, 2015, in UMass Medical Center, Worcester after being stricken ill. He was born on July 21, 1935, in St. Ignace, New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of the late Alphe and Eva
(Barrieau) Comeau.
Mr. Comeau worked for Aubuchon Warehouse as a truck driver for 35 years before retiring. He was a member of St. Cecilia Parish in Leominster. Delphis is survived by his wife of 54 years Florence M. (Cormier) Comeau of Leominster, his son Ricky Comeau of Leominster, his two daughters Pauline Comeau of Fitchburg, and Jackie Comeau of Marlboro, his five brothers Camille Comeau and Emery Comeau both of Hartford, CT, Edmond Comeau of Fredrickton, New Brunswick, Canada, Gilles Comeau of Leominster, Alphe Comeau of Toronto, Canada, his five sisters Julianna Vautour of St. Ignace, New Brunswick, Canada, Deanna Richard of Leominster, Rose Alma Arsenault of St. Charles, New Brunswick, Canada, Claudette Richard of Gardner, and Marie Pomaneleau of Hartford, CT. He was predeceased by his son Rene Comeau, his brother Roger Comeau, and his sisters Jeanne Richard, and Melina Ouellette. COMEAU -- Delphis' funeral will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 from the Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St., Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 168 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be Friday morning April 10, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
