- Clyde Otis Amero ? Weaver Settlement Amero, Clyde Otis Jr ? 78, A loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother went to be with the Lord on Thursday September 27th. With family by his side Clyde passed away in Tideview Terrace, Digby. Born in Weaver Settlement, July 2, 1934 a son of the late Clyde Sr. and Mae (Gavel) Amero. Clyde was an Elder of the Weaver Settlement Gospel Hall, he loved gospel music and reading the Bible. He loved driving trucks and working in the woods. Clyde is survived by wife, Gladys Elsie Amero; daughters, Angela (Sam) Harnish, Clementsvale; Rebecca (Bradley) Peck, Bear River; Loretta (Evan) Amero, Shannon (Billy) Amero, both from Digby; Rhoda (Clifford) Hill, Weymouth; Tanya and Shelly (Alex) Amero, both from Weaver Settlement; sons, Larry (Judy), Weymouth Mills; Anthony )Lorraine), Weaver Settlement; Wade (Shelly), St. Bernard; Darnell (Vickey), Lequille and Matthew (Cindy), Ashmore; 40grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Helen (Burgess) Weaver, Marie (Dennis) Boudreau, Leola (Fraser) Mullen, Leota (Henry) Muise, Joan Amero, Celena (Larry) Stone, Portia (Maurice) Melanson, Marlene Amero, brothers, George, Edward (Dixie), also several nieces and nephews. Clyde was predeceased by grandson, John David Amero, brother, Arnold, sister, Roseland (Reginald)Veinot and sister in law, Ethel Amero. Visitation will be 7-9, Sunday, September 30th and 2-4 and 7-9, Monday, October 1st from Jayne?s Funeral Home, Weymouth North (245-2525). Funeral Service at 3:30pm, Tuesday October 2nd in Weymouth Consolidated Elementary School Gymnasium. Eric Fowler will officiate. Interment in Weaver Settlement Cemetery.
