Clyde Lemuel Eisnor, 88, Indian Point and most recently of Liverpool, died July 17, 2000, in Queens Manor, Liverpool. Born in Indian Point, he was a son of the late Lemuel and Luella (Heisler) Eisnor. During his earlier life he had been a fisherman. He was one of the last surviving crew members of the schooner Bluenose skippered under the famous command of the late Captain Angus Walters. Later in life he had worked for various construction companies in Halifax until his retirement. He was a member of the Union Church and the Indian Oak New Horizon Seniors Club, Indian Point. He is survived by his companion and longtime friend, Mae Allen, Mahone Bay; daughter, Carolyn Myra, Halifax and son-in-law, Aubrey Myra, Chester Basin; son, Gordon Eisnor and his wife, Jackie, Liverpool; sister, Alice Giffen and her husband Cyril, Halifax; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Matilda (Heisler); sisters, Lila, Jean, Leta, Gloria; brothers, Harry, Wilfred, Lawrence. Visiting will be 2-4,and 7-9 p.m. today in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Union Church, Indian Point, Rev. Linda Macdonald officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery, Martin's River. Flowers are requested from the family only. The family would appreciate that consideration for memorial donations be for the Union Church, Indian Point or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
