Cora was very proud of the various careers that she had during her lifetime. She graduated from Truro Normal College in 1941 and taught school in the Clare region before moving to Halifax to start a new career working in medical records at the V.G. Hospital. In 1966, she married Eddie Bohan and moved to Connecticut. After Eddie passed away, she started working at Yale University as a medical secretary. While working at Yale, Cora met and married her second husband, Albert Comeau, in 1973. Cora and Albert retired and moved back to Nova Scotia in the late 70s. In her retirement, Cora enjoyed golfing and spending time with friends and family at her camp by the shore. She was kind-hearted and thoughtful, helping others whenever she could, and would always make her famous rum cake to donate to the Villa?s fundraiser bake sales. A memorial service will be held at a later date when we can gather to honour and remember her. Thank you to the nurses and caregivers at the Villa for looking after Cora since 2009.
