    COMEAU, Pauline Marie - 61, St. Joseph, Digby Co., died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in St. Joseph, she was a daughter of the late Jeremie and Estelle (MELANSON) COMEAU. She worked for Maritime Tel & Tel from 1959 to 1971. Surviving are sisters, Annette COMEAU, St. Joseph; Carmen COMEAU, Belledune, N.B.; Lea COMEAU, Prince Rupert, B.C.; brothers, Simeon (Louise), St. Joseph; Jean-Louis (Shirley), Ashmore, Digby Co. Visitation in Meteghan Funeral Home. Funeral was Monday, Jan. 21 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Concession, Rev. Clovis Chiasson officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment in the parish cemetery. Donations to the Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia, Canadian Cancer Society or Yarmouth Regional Hospital Fund.

    COMEAU, Lea - Age 69, of British Columbia, formerly of Concession, passed away September 16, 2013, in Mills Memorial Hospital, British Columbia, due to heart failure. Born in St. Joseph, she was a daughter of the late Jeremie and Estelle (Melanson) Comeau. She is survived by her siblings, Annette Comeau, Church Point; Carmen Comeau, Belledune, New Brunswick; Siméon (Louise) and Jean-Louis (Shirley), both of St. Joseph; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Pauline. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Meteghan Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd, at 3 pm in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Concession. Donations may be made to the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery Fund or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
