Viola Savoie, 84, of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Thursday July 27, 2017. She was married to the late Aldérice Savoie (1981). Born in Richiboucto-Village, she was the daughter of the late Donat and the late Julie (Babineau) LeBlanc.
She will be sadly missed by her three children; Cécile Daigle (Roger) of Cap-Lumière, Jessey (Linda) of Richiboucto-Village and Alfred (Patricia) of Richiboucto, her nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn four sisters; Emilia Henkel (John) of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, Pauline Langille of Cap-Lumière, Maria Berthe of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent and Laura Leibel (Mel) of Innisfail, AB, her two brothers; Roger (Noel-Ange) and Henri (Ginette) both of Richiboucto-Village as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one son Bernard, one grandson Denis, one sister Sara and two brothers; Sylva and Edgar.
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Monday July 31, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday July 31, 2017 at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Church at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Viola?s memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer?s Society.
