She is survived by sons, Julien (Shirley), Lower East Pubnico; Henry (Ann), Clementsport; Joe (Irene), Lower East Pubnico; Gene (Darlene), South Range; Leroy (Robyn), Lower East Pubnico; daughters, Louise (John) Belliveau, Middle East Pubnico; Helena (James) Nickerson, Lower East Pubnico; brothers, Louis (Rose), Woods Harbour; Lawrence (Alice), Lower East Pubnico; sister, Vivian (Coral) Amirault, Nakile Home For Special Care, Argyle; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Anselm "Sam" Theodore D'Eon, on May 8, 2008; an infant son; brother, George; one grandson. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:30-9 p.m. and Monday from 9-9:30 a.m. in West Pubnico Funeral Home, Middle West Pubnico. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Middle East Pubnico, with Msgr. Gerald LeBlanc officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.

    AMIRAULT, Vivian Marie - 84, Nakile Home for Special Care, Argyle, formerly of Middle East Pubnico, died August 19, 2008, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Lower East Pubnico, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Annie (Amiro) Amiro.

    She was a member of the East Pubnico New Horizons, the Ladies Auxiliary of Royal Canadian Branch 66, West Pubnico, Les Dames de Sainte Anne, and an active member in the community and her church.

    She is survived by her husband, Coral Amirault, Middle East Pubnico; four sons, a son-in-law, five daughters, two brothers, 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter, Elaine; two daughters in infancy; brother, George; sister, Florence.

    Visitation will be today from 4-9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in West Pubnico Funeral Home, Middle West Pubnico. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Middle East Pubnico, Msgr. Gerald LeBlanc officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

    Charlesville: We announce the death of Elaine Theresa Malone, native of Lower East Pubnico, on Saturday, February 6th, at Yarmouth Regional Hospital, at the age of 37. She was the daughter of Coral and Vivian (Amirault) Amirault. She was the manager and treasurer of the Aurora Credit Union of Middle East Pubnico.

    She leaves in mourning, besides her husband, Brex, a daughter, Jody at home; four brothers, Daniel and Kenneth of Lower East Pubnico; James of Middle East Pubnico and Ronald of West Pubnico; and five sisters, Leona (Mrs. Roger Muise) of Pubnico Head; Doris (Mrs. Garth Nickerson) of Middle East Pubnico; Seretha (Mrs. Calvin Spinney of Westmount; and Pauline and Julie of Halifax.

    The remains rested at West Pubnico Funeral Home. The funeral was held Wednesday, February 10th, at 10:30 a.m. with funeral service at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial was in Green Grove Cemetery in Charlesville.
