    Ernest C. Kampersal, 85, of Holliston, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at his home surrounded by family. Born in Holliston, he was the son of the late Mildred (Kairit) and Rein Kampersal. He was the husband of 60 years to Frances (Sawyer) Kampersal of Holliston. A lifelong Holliston resident, Ernest was a Veteran of the Army and served as a fire fighter on Engine 4 on the Holliston Fire Department for 22 years (1954-1976.) He worked for over 30 years for Anchor Freight and also worked for the family business, Kampersal Dairy. He was well known for his baseball abilities and his hobbies included woodworking and calling bingo at the Senior Center. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Debora DeBello and her husband David of Norfolk, Rein Kampersal and his wife Michele of Warwick, RI, Brenda Chapin and her husband Peter of Medway, Brian Kampersal of Holliston, and Judy Tessier and her husband Paul of Ft. Collins, CO. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many siblings, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two children, Cheryl Mark and Ernest Kamersal Jr. He leaves behind Cheryl's husband Walter Mark of Franklin and Ernest's wife Denise Kampersal of Indiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th from 4-7 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.
