He attended St. Peter's Anglican Church, Weymouth North. Surviving are daughter, Waneta (Mrs. Wellington McLaughlin), Halifax; foster daughter, Deborah (Mrs. Dave Best), English Mountain; sons, Benjamin Hiltz, Danvers; Edward and Glendon Hiltz, Riverdale; sister, Mildred Brattian, Weymouth; brothers, William, Smiths Cove; Herman, Digby; Stanley, Havelock; Roy, Saulnierville; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Glena; grandson, Christopher; granddaughter, Krista; sisters, Minnie, Eva, Levina; brothers, Henry, Harry. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Jayne's Funeral Home, Weymouth North. Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Weymouth North, Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Burial in St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery. Donations to any charity.

t is with great sadness we say goodbye to a talented man. Edward ?Eddie? Kenneth Hiltz - Age 62 of Riverdale, Digby Co. passed away from a massive heart attack on July 2nd, 2015 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital with his wife and daughter holding his hand. Born in Digby on November 10, 1952, Eddie was a son of the late Annie Agusta Wagner and Kenneth Benjamin Sabean. Eddie worked 19 years with Comeau Sea Foods and many years in the mink. He was jack of all trades. He loved his family and teaching things his children and grandchildren, he loved: playing music, fishing, hunting and playing pool. Eddie will be deeply missed by wife, Alice (Jennings) Hiltz; daughter, Tiffany Hiltz (Christopher); Kenneth ?Bucky? Hiltz (Leanne); Terence Hiltz (Candace); grandchildren, Christopher Hiltz, Tristan and Trinity LeBlanc, Trace and Trysin Hiltz; sisters, Ruby Langille (Newton), Waneta McGrath; Debra Jones (Charles); brothers, Eldon (Ruth); Benjamin (Louise); many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Eddie was predeceased by his sister, Glenna in infancy and his brother, Glendon. Visitation 7-9pm, Tuesday July 7th from Jayne?s Funeral Home, 5114 Hwy 1, Weymouth North (902-245-2525). Funeral Service at 2pm Wednesday, July 8th from Southville Church of Christ. Mr. Lou Outhouse and Pastor Trevor Sansom will preside. Interment in Southville Church of Christ Cemetery. Donations in memory of Eddie may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation. Age 18 - It is with great sadness and shattered hearts that we announce the sudden, unexpected passing of Travis Avery Pothier of Saulnierville as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Yarmouth on November 30, 2000, he was a son of Michael "Mike" Pothier and Patricia "Holly" Scoville. Visitation will take place in Meteghan Funeral Home today, Wednesday, October 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life/Fundraiser will take place on Sunday, October 20th, in St. Bernard Fire Department in St. Bernard from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. A bio-urn will be planted by the family at a later date. A tree will be planted in his memory at SMBA in the spring of 2020 in his memory for all to attend (date TBA). In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations of Hot Wheels, which will be donated to Christmas Daddies in his memory.
