    BABIN, Arsena - Age 81, of La Villa Acadienne, Meteghan, formerly of Meteghan River, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Mavillette, she was a daughter of the late Zacharie and Charlotte (LeBlanc) Maillet. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Bonnie), Campbell River, B.C.; Rodney (Clarette), Saulnierville; Alain (Christine), Campbell River, B.C.; daughters, Paulette (Michael) Gaudet, Vernon, B.C.; Mariette Babin (Allen Stuart), Concession; Louise (Bruce) Barkley, Eston, Sask.; Linda (Scott) Hambleton, Grand Valley, Ont.; Charlotte (Armand) Comeau, Meteghan River; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Ira (Irene) Maillet, Salmon River; sisters, Irene King, Victoria, B.C.; Ambroisine (Lloyd) Trenchard, Burlington, Mass.; Anne (Robert) Higgins, Dracut, Mass.. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert; son, Marcel in infacy; daughter, Maria Kenty; brothers, Norman, Clifford, Bradford, Ambroise; sister, Phyllis Comeau. Funeral will be held Monday, July 20, at 2:00 p.m. in Stella Maris Church, Meteghan, with Rev. Albeni d?Entremont officiating. Burial is to follow in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of N.S. or to the Clare Food Bank.
