Martin Dupuis, the son of Michael Dupuis and Marie Gauderot, was born around 1665 in Port Royal, Acadia (present-day Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia).
Matin married, 1686 in Port Royal, Marie Landry. She was the daughter of Rene 'lejune' Landry and Marie Bernard.
They were the parents of Jean (who married Marguerite Richard), Antoine (who married Marie Anne Dugast), Germain, Marie Josephe (who married Guillaume Hebert), Joseph, and three other daughters (names unknown).
Martin died on August 8, 1713 and was buried the following day at the St. Charles-aux-Mines Cemetery in Grand Pre located on the grounds of the Grand-Pre National Historic Site in Grand Pre, Nova Scotia, Canada. The cemetery, which no longer stands, is located near a memorial church, where a sign states: "For approximately 65 years part of the land between the Memorial Church and the present-day Grand Pre Road served as the parish cemetery of Saint-Charles-des-Mines."Martin married Marie Landry (daughter of René Landry (Dit Le Jeune) and Marie Bernard) [Group Sheet]
