- Thomas A. Gordon, 84, of Bloomsbury passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in Brakeley Park Center.
Born January 9, 1927 in Easton, PA he was the son of the late William ?Art? and Mary Baker Gordon.
He was an electrician at Riegel Paper Products in Warren Glen, NJ for 40 years before his retirement. He was a 1944 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and served in the Navy during World War 2 in the Pacific Theatre. He coached little league, football and baseball.
Thomas was a member of Bloomsbury Hose Co., No. 1; the Exempt Firemans Association; and the Bloomsbury Board of Education for 20 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, the former Marie Holmes; two sons, Neil and his wife, Phyllis, William and his wife, Stefanie; and a daughter Susan Snyder and her husband, Barry, all of Easton; grandchildren, Jennifer Erb and her husband, David, Patricia Ysambart and her husband, Nick, Marissa Gordon and her fiance Kevin Donnelly, Thomas Gordon and Willie Gordon; great-grandchildren Zack, Isabella, Adara, Tyler and Ali.
Funeral services will held privately. Interment will be in Bloomsbury Cemetery.
