      Romain, George - Age 96 of Meteghan, passed away July 1, 2011 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in St.Martin, he was a son of the late Eve and Genevieve (Comeau) Romain. George was a truck driver for most of his young life. Surviving are his children, Jeannette (Wilson), Concession; William (Rita), Bear River; George Jr. (Lennie), Meteghan Stn.; Zita, Little Brook Station.; Louanna (Lloyd), Meteghan; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Cecile; grandson Philbert; brothers Albenie, Elizee, Lawrence, Albert, Stanis, Thomas; sisters Adeline, Helene and Cecile. Visitations will be Sunday July 3 from 2-4, 7-9 pm in Meteghan Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Monday at 11 am at Stella Maris Church, Meteghan, Rev. Albeni d?Entremont officiating followed by interment in parish cemetery. Donations may be made to charity of your choice.
