Charlestown Navy Yard maintenance head
Harold Braid died on April 17 at his Chelsea home. He was 69 years old.
Born in Revere and in management for the National Parks Service, he was head of maintenance for the Charlestown Navy Yard.
He was the devoted brother of Janet Carron of Chelsea, Grace Robichaud of Saugus, Charles Braid of Chelsea and Patricia Detweiler of Florida; father of John Braid of Melrose, Tina Stickney and her husband, Shawn, of Swampscott and Peter Braid of Wakefield and is also lovingly survived by his granddaughter Sara Stickney as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea on Monday, April 25 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 10 o?clock.
