      COMEAU, Thérèse ? Age 96, of La Villa Acadienne, Meteghan formerly of Meteghan Centre, passed away Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016, in La Villa. Born in Meteghan Centre, she was a daughter of the late Alphie Saulnier and Agnes Sullivan. For many years she was well-known for making custom cakes for all occasions. She is survived by her son, Alvin (Joyce), Saulnierville; daughter, Marilyn Comeau, Ottawa; brother, Conrad Robichaud, Meteghan Centre; sisters, Bernice Boudreau, Meteghan; Phyllis Saulnier, Meteghan Centre; grandchildren Jean-Claude, Meteghan Centre; Jean-Marc Doucet, Ottawa; Rodrique Doucet, Fall River; Monique Doucet, Quispamsis, N.B.; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Noah, Owen and Benjamin Doucet; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George; sisters Irene, Corinne and Barbara. Visitation will take place Friday, June 24, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Meteghan Funeral Home, Meteghan. Funeral will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m., from Stella Maris Church, Meteghan with Rev. Wieslaw Papuga officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to the IWK Foundation.
