Age 44, of Weaver Settlement, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Born in Digby, he was a son of Malcolm Addington, St. Bernard; and Aimee Addington, Villa Acadienne, Meteghan. John was a long-time employee of Comeau?s Sea Foods Ltd. He is survived by his siblings, Jason (Miranda) Addington, Church Point; Jennifer (Claude) Theriault, Saulnierville; Nephews, Justin and Alex; Nieces, Makayla and Madison. Visitations will be held Saturday, September 9, from 7-9pm in Meteghan Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in St. Bernard Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
