    • Lucie Gaudet born on Sept 13, 1925 of St. Bernard Digby Co., passed away peacefully on Feb 6, surrounded by her family. She had a heart of gold and a million dollar smile. She was a very strong woman, widowed at 40 with 5 children, the oldest dying 2 years later of cancer. Through it all she kept up her spirits. She had a home filled with good food, music and fun. She kept busy with her many crafts, her gift shop "Lucie's Circle Drive" and her volunteer projects helping people out. Lucie is survived by brother, Bertie; daughters, Yvonne (Curtis) and Mae; sons, Robert and Philippe; grandchildren, Andrea, Denise (Craig), Josette (Eric), Jean Paul and Marie AndrĂ©e; great-grandsons, 2 sets of twins Thomas, Ethan, Oliver, Elliott. Thank you to the staff at the Yarmouth Hospital for keeping Mom comfortable for her last few days. BIG thank you to home support workers for all the love and care you gave her. Thank you friends for all the support. As per her wishes cremation has taken place under the direction of Jayne's Funeral Home, Weymouth. No visitation by request. Graveside service 2pm March 2, from St. Bernard Roman Catholic Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held following the graveside service at Chez Jean, Belliveau Cove.
