PELLERIN - Breaux Bridge Obituary
Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Rita T. Breaux, 82, who passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Opelousas General Hospital.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 9:30 pm on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 7:00 am until 10:00 am.
A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Friday, by Wildie D. Roberts.
Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Rita, better known as "T Bebe", loved listening to music and dancing. She enjoyed traveling to music festivals and supporting her sons? music careers. T Bebe enjoyed spending time in her flower garden and liked to shop for little knick-knacks. She worked for Hebert's Supermarket for over 20 years as a cashier. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Trahan and husband Tery; her sons, Gary Breaux and wife Carmen, Pat Breaux, and Jimmy Breaux; her grandchildren, Colby Breaux, Laurie Latiolais and spouse Clinton, Jared Breaux, Jonathan Breaux and spouse Nikki, Eli Breaux, Cheree DeVillier and spouse Wade, Dylan Breaux and spouse Summer, and Megan Breaux and fiancé Mark; her great grandchildren, Annie Castille, Peyton Breaux, Edison DeVillier, Emma Latiolais, Preston Latiolais, Noah, and Bailey; her sister, Margie Lanerie; and her brother, James Thibodeaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Breaux; her companion, U. J. Meaux; parents, Addie and Germaine Guidry Thibodeaux; baby sister, Ethel Thibodeaux; and daughter in law, Revette Breaux.
Pallbearers will be Gary Breaux, Pat Breaux, Jimmy Breaux, Jonathan Breaux, Eli Breaux, Colby Breaux, and Tery Trahan.
