Wedgeport ? We have been informed of the death of Volusien Cottreau, who died at 77 Bristol Rd., Somerville, Mass., after a brief illness, at the age of 84 years. The deceased was also of this parish but for 50 years he had lived in the States.

Besides his wife, he leaves in mourning three brothers, Joshua of Winthrop, Sévérin and Avite of Wedgeport. He was also the adoptive father of five sons: Luxime, with whom he lived for several years; Alphée of the States; Laurie of Plymouth and Leonore of Mayflower, Digby Co.; also three daughters, Eva, Natalie and Cécile.

      Burial was in Somerville.

Note: He died in Malden per the MA Death Index. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. A photo of the grave marker for Ambroise and his two wives was found on Ancestry; his first wife Elizabeth was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery per her 1919 MA death record.
