- Marie Marguerite Comeau was born 24 Sept 1710 to Abraham Comeau and Marguerite Pitre and baptized the next day at the Parish of St. Jean-Baptiste in Port Royal/Annapolis Royale. Her godparents were Guillaume Bourgeois dit Beaupre, a soldier at the garrison, and Marguerite Comeau, the wife of Maurice Vignot, who was absent with Jeanne Bourg standing in as her proxy. (RG 1, Vol.26, p.99)
She married Jean Leger, the son of Jacques Leger and Madeleine Trahan, on 2 May 1730 at the same parish where they both had been baptized.(RG 1, Vol.26a, p.62). They had the following known children:
1.Marie Josephe Leger bn. 14 Jul 1731.(RG 1, Vol.26a, p.91)
2.Anne Leger bn. 6 Apr 1733(RG 1, Vol.26a, p.107) and wed Jean Savary.
3.Catherine Leger bn. abt. 1735 and who wed Pierre Girardin dit Manceau
4.Michel Leger (abt. 1738-abt. 1770)
5.Marguerite Leger bn. abt. 1740 and who wed Pierre Doiron.

Marie Marguerite died 11 Aug 1756 at Port Lajoie (now Fort Amherst National Historic Park (Rocky Point)) at the stated age of 46 years and noted as the wife of Jean Leger. She was buried the following day in the cemetery of Port Lajoye. (PLJ, 1756, p.7)
