- At Foyer Saint-Antoine, on Saturday March 14, 2020, passed away, at the age of 95, Aline Goguen. Born June 25, 1924, in Grande-Digue, she was the daughter of the late Donat and Azélie (Richard) Babineau.
She will be missed by her four children: Majella, Jean-Marc (Norma) of Saint-Antoine, Ginette Goguen-Daigle (Réal) and Daniel (Lise) of Moncton; to nine grandchildren: Gaétan Goguen, Julien Goguen (Denise), Franceline Bugge (David), Annie Dietrich (Kent), François Goguen, Stéphanie Goguen, Christopher Boucher (Julie), Camille Goguen (Evan) and Amélie Goguen (Paul- Henri); to seven great-grandchildren: Alicia Goguen-Knockwood, Faith Meuse, Alexandre Goguen, Noah Bugge, Alexander Dietrich, Benjamin Dietrich and Annabelle Boucher; to three sisters: Jeannette Girouard (Paul), Louise Christopher (Joe) of Saint-Antoine and Mai Cormier of Notre-Dame; to three brothers: Aurèle, Ernest (Barbara) from Saint-Antoine and Gérald (Lucille) from Terrebonne (Qc); to a daughter-in-law, Diane de Saint-Antoine; to two sisters-in-law: Bella Richard from Montreal and Eugénie Babineau from Rogersville,
Besides her parents, Aline was predeceased by her husband, Aristide (1980); one son, Claude; three sisters: Lina LeBlanc (Yvon), Rita Cormier (Gérald) and Marie at a young age; three brothers: Yvon, Donald and Alphonse in infancy, and a sister-in-law, Thérèse.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic and at the request of the family, visiting hours and funerals will take place at a later date.
The funeral arrangements were in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Center, Moncton (858-1900).
