  Gerald O'Brien 1931 – 2010 Passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at age 78. Beloved husband of Edna (Erb); loved father of Sharon Snyder (Kenneth), Murray O’Brien (Donna), Bernie O’Brien and Wendy O’Brien (Monday Ewara); loving Poppy of Emmanuel, Eyo, Emelia, Robyn, Heather, John, James, Lisa, David, Sherri-Lynn and Murray Jr; dear brother of Bonnie Blundon (Fred) and special uncle of Sheryl and Gail Nafziger. Also will be missed by many nieces and nephews as well as by friends at Parkwood Mennonite Home. Predeceased by brothers, Raymond, Pierce, Kevin, and Richard and a sister, Betty Goetz. Friends are invited to share their memories of Gerald with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 4 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale St.N., Waterloo on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Piotr Machnacki as Celebrant. A family interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau will be followed by a reception in the parish hall.
