LOMBARD, Russell Henry - 87, passed away October 3, 2007, in Regional Health Centre, Yarmouth. Born in Weymouth North, he was a son of the late Alexander and Eva (BRITTIAN) LOMBARD. Russell enjoyed fishing and playing pool and was a tap dancer. He also enjoyed attending the community fund raising events in Havelock. Surviving are his children, Leslie (Janice) LOMBARD, Richard (Angela) LOMBARD, Hill Grove; Linda (Eddie) STEVENS, Digby; Andrew (Heather) LOMBARD, Digby; Nancy (Mike) GILHEN, Digby; Fred (Patsy) LOMBARD, Alberta; John (Doris) LOMBARD, Centreville; Dorothy PARSONS, Digby; Ronald (Brenda) LOMBARD, Digby; Peter LOMBARD, Digby; Kathleen (David DOUCETTE) TITUS, Gilbert's Cove; Marjorie (Chris) AMERO, Digby; Vincent (Linda RUDOLPH) LOMBARD, Alberta; sisters, Alice DOUCETTE, Havelock; Mable (Robert) MAINE, Ashmore; Dorothy MOORE, Plympton; Carole (Floyd) MELANSON; brothers, Stanley LOMBARD, Arnold (June) LOMBARD, Alexander LOMBARD; 25 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Jayne's Funeral Home, Weymouth North. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday in Bethel Baptist Church, Ashmore, Rev. Fred Bigelow officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
