- Funeral services for Bernice Guillory Thibodeaux, 88, will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 1PM in St. Peter's Catholic Church in Pine Prairie, with burial following in the Fontenot Cemetery.
Bernice Thibodeaux, a resident of Pine Prairie died at 8pm April 3, 2008 at Ville Platte Medical Center.
She is survived by a son, David Thibodeaux and wife Norma of Pine Prairie, a daughter, Earlene Fontenot, and husband Rogers of Pine Prairie, a brother, Gilbert "T-Do" Guillory of Oakdale, and his sister-in-laws, Rose Guillory of Pine Prairie, Annie Thibodeaux of Vinton, and Ruby Johnson of Chicot.
She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Renee' Aucoin, Tiffany Ashford, Hope Thibodeaux, Randy Fontenot, Scott Thibodeaux, Jason Mouret Thibodeaux, 4 step grandchildren, Phyllis Thibodeaux, Justin Guillory, Derrick Guillory, and David Guillory. She also has 13 great grandchildren, and 1 step great grandchild, and 1 great gerat grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rene and Martha Douget Guillory, her husband, Earl Thibodeaux, a brother, Raymond Guillory, and two sisters, Lena Fontenot, and Ednis McDaniel.
Visitation will be helad at the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Pine Prairie from 2pm Friday until service time. A rosary will be recited at 6:30pm Friday.
