THERIAULT, John ? Age 54, of Meteghan River passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in QE II Health Sciences Centre, VG Site, Halifax, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of Ernest and Jody Theriault. John will be greatly missed by his wife of 28 years, Blanche Theriault; daughters, Dianne (Mike) LeBlanc and Nicole Theriault; sister, Julia (Bruce) Nickerson; brother, David (Lisa); nieces and nephews. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, bluegrass music, boating, four wheeling, camping and cooking. His camp in Maxwellton was his pride and joy. He was a shareholder in A. F. Theriault & Son Ltd., a third generation family owned business. John was a long standing member of Forest Nova Scotia, Maritime Kiln Dryers Association and Nova Scotia Woodlot Owners & Operators Association. He was also a director of Medway Community Forest Co-op. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held Monday, November 13, at 11 a.m. from Stella Maris Church, Meteghan. Rev. Wieslaw Papuga will be officiating, assisted by Rev. Albeni d?Entremont. Donations may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research or Jacky Comeau & Friends Cancer Help Fund Association.
