Born in St. Joseph, she was a daughter of the late Jeremie and Estelle (Melanson) Comeau. She is survived by her siblings, Annette Comeau, Church Point; Carmen Comeau, Belledune, New Brunswick; Siméon (Louise) and Jean-Louis (Shirley), both of St. Joseph; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Pauline. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Meteghan Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd, at 3 pm in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Concession. Donations may be made to the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery Fund or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
