- Martin Aucoin was a joiner (carpenter).[1] He married twice. His first wife was Barbe Minguet whom he married around 1620. The couple had three children: Michelle, Jeanne and Nicolas.[1]
Martin's second wife was Marie Sallé, who married him on January 20 1632 at St-Barthélemy de La Rochelle, France. The couple had one son Jean, who was born on November 15 nov 1632 at St-Barthélemy de La Rochelle.[1]
