  Walter F. Crean Jr. 1942 ? 2015 LEWISTON ? Walter F. Crean Jr., 72, of Lewiston, died on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at CMMC, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Nancy J. (Hern) Crean, who died in 2014. He was born in Beverly, Mass., on Oct. 12, 1942. Walter worked for the Town of Yarmouth for 25 years and was on the volunteer fire department for both Yarmouth and Lisbon. He made friends wherever he went; Walter was a very kind-hearted man and a loving father, husband, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Sirois, and her husband, Jerry, of Leeds; and his son, Walter T. Crean-Carter and his partner, Roy Carter, of Augusta. He also leaves his granddaughters, Kelsey and Marissa Williamson; his grandson, Hunter Sirois; great-grandson, Maddox Treasure: his brothers, Tom Crean and his wife, Liz, of Beverly, Mass., and Lenny Crean and his wife, Debbie, of Peabody, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
