    • Roger J. Messier, 45, of 35 Edward St., died suddenly this morning at his home. Death, according to Associate Medical Examiner Joseph M. Silver, was due to natural causes.

      Mr. Messier, a World War II Army veteran, was employed at Standard Pyroxoloid Corp., Leominster.

      He was born in Granby, Canada, May 29, 1921, the son of the late Alfred Messier and Aldea (Dextraze) Messier, and lived here for the past 44 years.

      He was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

      He leaves his widow, Mrs. Emma (Gaudet) Messier; two daughters, Mrs. Edward P. LeBlanc and Mrs. Eugene Bedard; a brother, Norman Messier; and three grandchildren, all of this city.

      The funeral will be held Saturday morning from the Aubuchon Funeral Parlors, with a Solemn High Mass of Requiem to be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

      Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
