We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Emily Cairns (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Amirault and Elsie Amirault (DeViller); her former husband Stan; and her siblings, Phyllis Amirault and Robert Amirault. She is survived by : her husband Stanley; her sons, Martin Cairns (Diane), Paul Cairns, Chris Cairns (Christine) and Mitchell Cairns; her granddaughters, Emily Cairns (Ben), Kathleen Cairns and Kit Cairns (Laura); and her sisters, Merriam Sullivan (Hubert), Ethel Cottreau (Robert) and Patricia Paul (Clyde). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
