- "Edmée Arsenault, 88 of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Saint-Thomas de Kent, passed away peacefully at the Manoir on Thursday August 25th, 2011. She was married to Gerard Arsenault of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche. Born in Bouctouche on March 21st, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and the late Azélie (Poirier) Maillet. She will be sadly missed by her husband Gerard, her seven children; Bernadette Breau (Aldérice) of Cocagne, Annette Bourque (Michel) of Moncton, Laurie (Sandra) of Florence, Oregon, Maurice (Albertine), and Elmo (Monique) of Saint-Thomas de Kent, Alvin (Doris) of Moncton, Raoul of Saint-Antoine, her twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one sister; Germaine Boudreau (Donat) of Bouctouche, six brothers, Raymond (Alcida), André (Yvette), Jean-Paul (Maria), Yvon (Yvonne), Alonzo (Andréa) of Saint-Thomas de Kent, and Aubrey of Montreal, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one sister Lorraine and one brother Eric. Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l?église, Bouctouche on Sunday August 28th, 2011 from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday August 29th, 2011 at 11:00 am with internment in the parish cemetery. In Edmée?s memory donations can be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche."
