She was a member of Les Nouveaux Horizons de la Barronnie. She enjoyed line dancing. She was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church Choir for over 60 years. She was a member of the Nova Chords Barbershop Chorus and Quartet. She was a member of La Chorale Acadienne du Sud-Ouest de la Nouvelle-+cosse. She is survived by her husband, Willis d'Entremont; daughters, Sandra (David) Nickerson, Shag Harbour; Dale d'Eon, Lower West Pubnico; Myra (Donnie) Smith, North East Point; brothers, Wallace (Lucie), Melford (Pauline), both of Lower West Pubnico; Delbert (Clotilda), Forest Glen, Yarmouth Co.; sisters, Amelia d'Entremont, Lower West Pubnico; Claire (Gus) d'Eon and Pauline (Viat) d'Entremont, both of West Pubnico; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Russell; son-in-law, Jimmy; brother, Wallace in infancy. Visitation will be today from 4-9 p.m. and 9-9:30 a.m. Thursday in West Pubnico Funeral Home, Middle West Pubnico. A funeral celebration of life will take place 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Middle West Pubnico, with Rev. Edgar Mvubu officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
