- AREMKO, Michael ? After a courageous battle with leukemia the family announces the passing of Michael Jaremko on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the proud age of 70. More than just an uncle to Jason (Carla), Anna (Loren), Cory (Erica), Nathan, Alyssa, John, Ben, Sophie, Abigail and Kendyl. Cherished brother-in-law of Lenore (late Gary). Son of the late Fred and Anna Jaremko, brother of the late Gloria Bordenuk (late John) and the late Gordon (Lois). He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Uncle Mike enjoyed his adventures with lifelong friends, Bill Bovingdon and Rick Hayward. Friends and family are invited to call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6 ? 8 pm. A Private family service will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to ARCH or the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank John and his team of nurses at the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic, the nursing staff on 3B for all of their care and compassion, Dr. Hill, Cindy, Dr. Meligrana, Dr. Booth, Laura Fryia and all of the doctors and nurses in emergency who have cared for him over the past year.
