Notes - DUGAS, Joseph Leonard - 79, Weymouth Mills, Digby County, died March 3, 1994, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Weaver Settlement, Digby County, he was a son of the late Thomas and Grace (Amero) Dugas. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Weymouth; member of the Canadian Army and served during the Second World War overseas in England. He drove a taxi in the Weymouth area for many years. He is survived by his wife, the former Donna Marie Banks; daughter, Rachel, at home; two sisters, Rosie Blinn, St. Bernard, Digby County; Pauline (Mrs. Camile Comeau), Weymouth; three brothers, Willie, Walter, Phillip, all of Weaver Settlement. He was predeceased by a brother, Louis. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. March 10 in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Thomas McQuade officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements under the direction of Jayne's Funeral Home, Digby.
