She was honored as the Outstanding Senior Citizen of Pocahontas County in 1995. She also was an avid bowler and on her 70th birthday bowled a 600 series. AnnaBelle's hobbies included knitting, reading, baking, (most memorable being her "big chocolate chip cookies"), walking, and spending time with her beloved family. Grandma AnnaBelle was a patient, soft-spoken, "classy lady" who was loved by many. AnnaBelle entered her eternal home on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the age of 89. Those left to treasure her memory are her children: Dick and wife Beth, of Colorado Springs, CO; Jody Smith, Scotland, SD, Tom and wife LuAnn, of Chariton, IA; 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
