    Marie (Prendeville) Maloney, age 59, a resident of Quincy, passed into eternal life on February 2, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Marie was the beloved wife for thirty-six years of Thomas M. Maloney, Jr.; cherished mother of Thomas M. Maloney III and his wife Christina, Therese H. Maloney and Patrick P. Maloney, all of Quincy; loving daughter of the late Lawrence N. and Bridget M. (Healy) Prendeville; dear sister of Lawrence J. Prendeville and his wife Carol of Quincy, Loretta N. Prendeville of Quincy and the late Eileen Prendeville Yetman; adored aunt of Michael, Brendan and Andrew Prendeville and Katherine Yetman. Marie is also survived by many dear aunts, cousins and friends. A lifelong Quincy resident, Marie was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School and Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing. She was a dedicated nurse at Carney Hospital in Dorchester for thirty-seven years. Marie was the cornerstone of her family. Together with her husband, they built a foundation of faith, love and trust for the true lights of her life, her three children, Thomas, Therese and Patrick. Marie left a lasting impression on everyone she met, making all feel welcomed, loved and truly at home in her presence. She will be sorely missed by all those whose lives she has touched over the years. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Monday, February 8, at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Anns Church, 757 Hancock Street, Quincy, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Interment Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.     Bridget "Bridie" Prendeville (Healy), of Quincy, surrounded by her loving family, passed into eternal life April 20, 2012, at the age of 83. Bridie was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence N. Prendeville and the cherished mother of Marie Maloney and her husband, Thomas, of Quincy, Lawrence Prendeville and his wife, Carol, of Marshfield, Loretta Prendeville of Quincy and the late Eileen Yetman. She was the much loved "Nana" of Thomas, Therese, Patrick, Kate, Michael, Brendan and Andrew. Bridie was the devoted daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Healy of Galway, Ireland. Sister of Sean Healy, Kathleen Hansbury and Michael Healy, all of Ireland, Josephine Seeley and Teresa Murphy of Florida and predeceased by three dear brothers: Patrick, Thomas, and Timothy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Born in Clonkeen, Abbert, Menlough, County Galway, Ireland, Bridie arrived in Quincy at the tender age of 21. Through her brother Tom, she met her sole-mate and husband, Larry Prendeville. Together, they shared the vision of coming to the United States and building a loving family. They believed in a strong faith in God, the importance of family and a strong work ethic. Bridie and Larry enjoyed going to Irish dances on Saturday evenings and many family memories were made under the "Cigar Tree" in Plymouth. Bridie will be deeply missed by her family. The family of Bridie would like to thank the devoted staff at Hancock Park for their love, dedication and skilled care. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday 2-6 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Monday prior to the funeral Mass in St. Anns Church, Quincy at 10 a.m. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
