Constance Howe, age 57, of Brick, died Saturday, June 27, 2009 at home.

Born in Bound Brook , NJ , she grew up in Jackson prior to moving to Brick 38 years ago.
She was employed as a Bus Driver with the Brick Township Board of Education for 25 years. Constance was an active member of the American Legion Post 348, Brick.

She was predeceased by her parents, Donald Eugene and Anna Margaret Mitchell; a brother, Thomas Mitchell in 2003 and a sister Sharon Fossati in 1996.
Constance is survived by 2 sons, Joseph Poppe and wife Jackie of Lynchburg, VA and Timothy Poppe and fiancé Alicia Errickson of Pine Beach; 2 daughters, Kathleen Ferry and husband Casey of Toms River and Jessica Howe and fiancé Billy Carcamo of Brick and two granddaughters, Aundrea Carcamo of Brick and Isabella Ferry of Toms River. She is also survived by her brother, Alan Mitchell and wife Joanne of Howell along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Rd. , Brick. Cremation will be private.

Frederick married Doris Matthews. Doris (daughter of Steward Matthews and Bella B. Hulse) was born 27 Jan 1927; died 3 Feb 2014; was buried , Osbornville Cemetery Osbornsville, Ocean County, New Jersey, USA. [Group Sheet]

Doris M. Poppe, 87, of Brick passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, with her family by her side. She was born in Lakewood, NJ, and lived in Virginia from 1987 to 2003, when she returned to Brick, NJ. Doris was a member of Brick Presbyterian Church, a Charter Member of the Community First Aid Ladies Auxiliary, and a former member of Breton Woods Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Doris was pre-deceased in 2005 by her husband, Frederick; she is also pre-deceased by her three brothers, James, Carl, and Richard Matthews, and her sister, Lorena Poppe. Doris is survived by her three sons, Ross Poppe of Nathalie, VA, Tommy Poppe of Pelzer, SC, Frederick Poppe Jr. of Brick; two daughters, Pauline and her husband Jesse Kilhefner of Newburgh, ME, and Wilma Poppe of Brick; she is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and, one great- great grandchild.

There will be a viewing on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08723, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, 10:30 am at Brick Presbyterian Church, Brick, NJ, followed by an interment at Kettle Creek Cemetery, Brick, NJ.
