DeVILLER, Frank William Reuben ? age 87, The Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth, formerly of Yarmouth, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at The Meadows. Born July 28, 1927 in Melbourne, he was a son of the late William and Lena (Deveau) DeViller. Frank was a lobster fisherman all of his working life, having owned and operated two boats throughout the years. He was a talented man, but was particularly good at carpentry. He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Lorraine M. (Landry) DeViller, as well as by their two daughters, Rebecca (Russell) Frotten, Yarmouth and Francine (Darren) Penney, North East Point, and grandchildren, Darren, Tyler and Jewel Penney. He is also survived by brothers, Ervin DeViller, Pinkney?s Point; Wallace (Florene) DeViller, Plymouth; Ernie (Connie) DeViller, Melbourne; Larry (Pauline) DeViller, Little River Harbour; sisters, Addie Doucette, Pinkney?s Point; Genevieve Allen, Ontario; Mathilde Dugas, Church Point; Corinne (Vernon) Jacquard, Wedgeport. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Lawrence, Stanley and Howard DeViller; sisters, Celina Frizzell and Evangeline Saulnier; half-brothers, William DeViller Jr., Edmond DeViller, Adolphe Deveau, Albany Deveau; half-sisters, Jeanette Aquaro and Rita Ryan. Visitation will take place from 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday with prayers at 8 p.m. at H. M. Huskilson?s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. The funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 3 from Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Gerald David officiating, Msgr. Gerald LeBlanc and Father Patrick O?Meara concelebrating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. It has been requested that there be family flowers only. Donations in Frank?s memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer?s Society of Nova Scotia. YARMOUTH - J. Edmund Landry, 97, of Yarmouth, and formerly of Amirault's Hall, died Thursday in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Amirault's Hill, he was a son of the late Remi and Madeline (Muise) Landry. He was a retired fisherman. He is survived by four daughters, Louise (Mrs. Gerald Gaudet), Evelyn (Mrs. Edward Doucette), Helen (Mrs. Clifford Hipson) and Lorraine (Mrs. Frank DeViller), all of Yarmouth; four sons, Ernie and Eddie, both of Amirault's Hill; Pius, Sand Beach, and Alcide, Yarmouth; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Lucy Saulnier, and five sons. The body is in Sweeny?s Funeral Home. Yarmouth. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Notre Dame Church, Yarmouth, Rev. E. Mills officiating, with burial in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be to the Victorian Order of Nurses.

Lucy (daughter of Emilier Saulnier and Ellen Trahan) was born 23 Nov 1892, Saulnierville, Digby County, Nova Scotia, Canada; died 16 Apr 1967, Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, Canada; was buried , Our Lady Of Calvary Cemetery Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Mrs. Lucy Marie Landry, 74, of Yarmouth, passed away on April 16 at her home. She was the daughter Emilier Saulnier and Ellen Trahan. She is survived by her husband, Edmund, six sons, Emile, Sand Beach; Ernest, Eddie, and Homer, Amirault's Hill; Pius, Sand Beach; and Alcid, Yarmouth. Also four daughters, Louise, (Mrs. Gerald Gaudet), Yarmouth; Evelyn (Mrs. Edward Doucette); Helen, (Mrs. Clifford Hipson), Yarmouth; and Lorraine (Mrs. Frank DeViller), Yarmouth; two brothers, Benjamin Saulnier, Saulnierville, and Edmund Saulnier, U. S. A.; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Moody, Amirault's Hill, Mrs. Celeste Landry, also of Amirault's Hill; Mrs. Celine Gaudet, Saulnierville, and Joan Agnes, U. S. A.; 38 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
